Topic: Using headphones

I need to be able to listen to the upcoming song to be able to prepare it before I play it how do I do that with my headphones?

I'm not sure that you can do it with home edition. I think thats only reserved for the Professional edition.
If there's a config, there should be a setup for sound cards etc which you might be able to do it. But if it doesn't tell you ho to do it in the manual, then you can't
 
If you look here: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html it should be possible. Go into config, search for the sound card tab and select your sound card. I think you will need a 4.1 (or better 5.1 etc) sound card. Then plug the front output to your amplifier and your rar to your headphone.

you need a soundcard with seperated channels or two soundcards for front and rear output rear=headphone and front=master. you can`t connect DJ Hardware in dj mixstation they splittet conncted channels in ones soundcard
