Topic: Shortcut to add song to playlist

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Can someone tell me if there is a way to add a keyboard shortcut to add a song from the database window to the playlist? I have looked through all of the available 'actions' and I can't find the one I need. Is this even possible?

I don't know if you can make a keyboard shortcut, but it seems to me it would be easier to simply drag-and-drop from the database to the playlist...

macourteau, I agree that it is easy to drag the song to the playlist but having moved from mixmeister pro5 to VDJ, I like the feature of being able to search for a song, down arrow then CTRL-Q to add it to the playlist...just what I am familiar with I guess. I am also trying to minimise the use of the mouse with my new DJC....
