My laptop that I want to mix at functions only has one audio output, so i cant hear other tracks through headphones. what options do i have for this problem?? Logitech make USB headphones, but i was told that these may not work for what i need them for. External soundcards are also a bit pricey. what is the best solution.

Hello.

Buy a stereo to mono splitter. In a side you can ear the 'dancefloor volume' and the other side you ear the headphones. But this way you have a mono sound.

I recommand to you the TERRATEC MUSE POCKET usb soundcard, it is only 60€ and you have two stereo outputs.
