Hi all, i'm new to the DJing world, so be kind to me :D:D:D

I'm gonna be using VDJ with the MK2 console..... i know it will (should) be fine with my surround sound 5.1 Creative speaker system in my home..... but wondering what speakers i should be doing for say an outdoor BBQ in a small back yard.

I know i could get away with the ones i've got, but what do you guys recommend? Needs to be affordable, i don't need anything over the top.

Also my bro is selling me numark cdn36 cd decks for £50.......how good and compatible are they with the system i'm gonna be using.... i'm no expert so any advice would be great.

BTW anyone wanting to buy the MK2 console, do'nt get it from amazon, it will take till next year to get it

If you want an afordable system, you can actually use the mk2 as a mixer, and hook the cd decks into the line ins of the mk2

Then the sound out would need to go to an amp, and from the amp to speakers

For a outside BBQ, any home stereo hifi system would do actually :)
No need to invest in heavy expensive dj speakers and PA for that....

If you want more of a "DJ system", there are also many affordable solutions with amp/mixer/speakers
