This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've tried to record my mix from my mixer to the line in of my onboard soundcard (realtek).
but the volume of the mix is very low.
but do I need the get the slider(in the control panel of onboard soundcard) for record all the way up because the sound is then very distorted.(the bass is very bad).
