Topic: [help] External windows - how to?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm trying to creare external windows, using "CreateDialog" (i'm using templates from a RC file), but I don't know the "hInstance" parameter (the window is the desktop handle). So, how can I careate external windows by templates?

As you saw while connecting on MSN Messenger, HINSTANCE and HWND are written in the audio SDK
