I know this is probably NOT a simple question but here goes......is there a "beginner" lighting set up for a mobile dj who is just starting out? does VDJ control lighting?? Do I need additional software or hardware to do this?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

VDJ can control DMX, you will need a DMX box to connect on usb or parallel port on your computer for this.
