i have ttx1 turntables from numark which have no ground wire, what would I do to connect vdj up to use time coded vinyls if i bought them? would it still work ungrounded?

Also can i use the line out from the decks to connect instead of splitting the signal from phono out?

I have the TTX1's too, and you don't need to do anything extra. The turntables are grounded through the power cable (which is why it has that third prong) so you don't have to ground them yourself. Just hook it up and start playing!

anything using RCA connections at line level (1.5V) does not need to be grounded, unless your traversing distances of more than 3m but who the hell wouldnt use a balanced interconnect for that anyway

switch your TTX1s to Line out, and you won't need the ground wire.

tried and tested
