Hey all you skin making - XML crazies!
I would be willing to pay someone to design a skin to my specifications which would basically be elimate a lot of the bells and whistles I don't use and give me more space for songs and a little BIGGER text if that's possible?

Hey renee. I'm with you. I'll put my money where my mouth is. A nice 1900x1200 skin for the laptop without all the stuff I don't need would be awesome. I'd be willing to pay for it. Maybe the thread would get some play in the skins forum though?
 
Hopefully such skins will be made without anyone paying for them :)

As far as I remember, all the skins are 1280x1024 except maybe a few. Even a 1600x1200 would be a huge improvement for a lot of us.

mine is only 1200x800

most users have 1024x768... and most skins have that size
 
lol i reckon @ size screen. im in need of an upgrade if people start making skins more than 1200 x 800 resolution!
 
Only the new Dell laptop does 1900x1200. It's about the sickest thing I've ever seen on a laptop. The thing is HUGE. I actually still prefer to use my old Dell laptop (old meaning I bought it in Feb) which is pretty big but seems petite compared to the new Dell Laptop.
 
1900x1200.. lol... that is out-of-this-world for a laptop! ;) hehe

I think you might be the only one here having that screen! lol..

But making a skin in same size-ratio would be good for you, you could then just maximize and it would fill the screen without looking all bad...

I might make a very simple pro skin, with ONLY the needed features - and no fancy extras or fancy real-life hardware graphics. It would be easy for me to redo to all different screen size...

I might ... no promises, but I have an idea .. :)
 
Well heck, a girl waves cash in the air and I can't even get a promise! LOL
 
Macbook Pro has that too. I've got one. Don't see any 1900x1200 Skins anywhere :-(
 
You are kidding right, you dig out a thread virtually six years to the day of the last post, surely the forums aren't that boring for you just now are they... lol.
