Topic: Equipment for a Trance Electronic DJ??

Hey All, just getting into all this. What is some good equipment for a Trance DJ?? I might do some scratching here and there. Mixers?? etc.

Plus, can I do real time sampling with Virtual DJ software like from my mic?? or should I look for that in my mixer??
 
So, any ideas on a Mixer for a Trance DJ??? something around $300 or so???
 
mixing trance is usually doing basic beatmix, with smooth transitions.

Any mixer will do, but preferably go for a mixer with a full range crossfader (instead of a short "scratch crossfader" mixer). Most mixers will let you choose the behaviour of the crossfader anyway.

and yes, VDJ has real time sampler engine :) it samples what you play on-the-fly (4 beat loop), or custom length loops and "jiingle" sampling.
