I’m using the old Hercules dj console, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to turn of those blinking pink lights, that blink by the beat? I’m really want to rely on my hearing when I beatmix.
So does anyone have any idea how to do that, other that to open the console and to disconnect it manually?
And is it possible to turn off the crossfader, because I’m using an external mixer, and the crossfader on the hdjc only gets in the way?

With VDJ full version you can remap all the buttons and faders of hdjc

yes... but can you turn the blinking light off simply by remaping the sync buttons??

You can also 'turn them off' with a little electrical tape over top of them.

i think it might be possible in the mapper too (they use midi).
But the new upcomming mapper is only for full version of VDJ ...
