So, I am trying to get my friend to try out VDJ. He doesnt have a MIDI mixer and wants to use some kind of external switch for crossfading the video.
The Griffin Powermate SHOULD work!

You can assign keyboard commands to it in the driver, but VDJ does not see them.
If I assign say F1 to crossfade left, in the keyboard shortcuts tab, it shows nothing. If I assign control-F1 to it, then the ctrl+ shows up, but not the F1.
I can assign any alphabet letter to any of its commands, and say if I open up Word, it will type the letters, but in VDJ, it will not work !!
HELP!

Thats weird..,
what happens if you have the shortcuts tab in options open and send a command from powermate ? (press "Add" first..) Normally commands/keys show up in this window.
