Im building a new video mixing box and am curious what everyones running for motherboards. I usually run Intel desktop boards but am open to suggestions. I'll be running one of these two video cards. Havn't decided which one yet.

I am currently running an ASUS P5AD2-E Premium motherboard. It has a PCI express 16x for a blazing fast video card. Support for three hardware based RAIDs and much more. I recommend you a 640 Intel Processor, but buy what you could affort, I have a 540 and it's very good. The new processors support 64 bits extension support (EMT64) and have a one in the end (541, 531, etc) and all the 600s series too. (The top off the line is the Intel Pentium 840 EE)

The memory modules I suggest are DDR2. You could use 533 or 667 DDR2 memory modules. 667 is faster than others, and use a pair of memory modules to get your full mem. If you want 1GB use 2 512MB 667 DDR2 modules, for 2GB use 2 1GB 667 DDR2 or 4 512MB DDR2 modules.
