Is there a software that I can use to record with an external mixer that will work?

I recorded a mix last night with VDJ and it came out really bad. A lot of silence when I
moved the crossfader.

Please help.

I think there is a missing config, because I record my mixes with VDJ and they have a very good sound. Like the originals.

You could use ANY record program, I use FL Studio or Soundforge, but maybe there is another less sophisticated to record your mix…
