How can I set the crossfader to the center position using the keyboard shortcuts?

it depends what skin you are useing and use the page up or page down to move the crossfader.and try to get a full version
 
use the shortcut key:
crossfader(2048)
 
or crossfader reset
thats the easiest way
 
yes you're right :-)
I am used to programming with the values between 0 et 4096, that's the reason why
