Topic: Corrupted internal database

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey about a half hour ago I was mixing up songs like a madd man, and then it just froze and started played the same beat over and over, and then I closed it out using Ctrl, Alt. Del. I restarted my computer and tried to get back into the program, and it says that the internal database has been corrupted. How can I fix this?

go to your virtualdj folder. delete the internal database.
then launch it again.

you will lose all your edited bpm's, and any comments you may have made.

Hey.. I just did what you said and I still can't run the program. When I double click on the icon, it says 'internal database corrupted'

are you sure you deleted it? sounds like you didnt because if you did there would be no database to be corrupted until vdj has been reopened to create a new one

Yeah I'm positive that I deleted it.. and it still didn't work. So I just deleted the whole thing. Now I've tried to download the demo, and when I try to run the program.. it says that I've performed an illegal operation.
