Howdy, I work as a tech for one of Australia's largest mobile DJ companies. We are looking to upgrade our decks from a CDs to a PC interface, and since I have a computing background, I've been asked to check out the options. After trying most of the software available, I've decided Atomixmp3 is probably the way to go. I've just got a few questions which need to be cleared up.

The first issue is a fairly major one, and I have trawled your forums looking for a solution but haven't been able to find one. It concerns loading a CD in one channel while an mp3 is playing in the other. Whenever I do this the mp3 jumps. I've tried it on three systems; two AthlonXP 2000+'s, one with an Audigy and one with onboard sound, and a Celeron 2200 laptop with an Audigy2 NX, all running XP Pro. I have tried it on all configurations with various CDs.

The next question I have is, would Atomixmp3 run well on a Via C3 666MHz processor with 256mb DDR, running XP home?

That's about it. All help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers
bedlam

i've just tried to play a CD and mp3 at the same time and they both work.

I'd recommend you free your ram up as much as possible.
run the most basic of programs and this should reduce skipping
