I had only been running atomix mp3 for a week or two when i began to have a problem analyzing new music in order to know the bpm. When i analyze a file with a question mark next to it and then try to play it, either fatal error number 4039d3:d90c41d9 or 40dd6e:830048b will always occur. This isnt ctatstrophic, since I can still mix music without knowing the bpm ahead of time, but it is an inconvenience. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

When you see an .mp3 file with a question mark next to it, it’s because this file are broken.
You can try to decompress these file to .wav and re-encode to .mp3 or encode the original song (in .wav or vinyl to .mp3).

I'm not sure that the answer is that the files are broken; even newly downloaded files have the same problem when being analyzed. Is there anything else it could be?

you got the error doing a scan only?
As coyote said, files with that mark means that it is not well recorded
