Topic: effects download but don't appear on Atomix

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am a full version user and just tried downloading some new effects. They show up in the effects folder alright, but on the Atomix interface itself how do I access them? It still gives me the 3 original effects to choose from even though I know I put the new ones in the effects folder. Please advise.

Could you see the .dll file in the effects folder through windows explorer?
Besides, do you have any firewall or antivirus installed? Dunno why but some users couldn`t see .dll with firewall or antivirus running.
 
Yes the effects .dll file is listed in the effects folder but how do I select it to replace default effects?

Open atomixmp3 and:

1- Go to effects windows
2- Click on the little arrow in one of the effects you want to change
3- In the new window open, go to effects folder (c: programme files/atomixmp3/effect/) and choose (by double-click) the new effect you want
4- Enjoy it :-)
