Personally I have tried both... I can't agree with the statement that Traktor sounds better... I do know that on a p-4 1.8 g computer Traktor crashes more... (a lot more)
I think the bugs in Atomix have pretty much been ironed out over the years... if you are experiencing a specific bug, either e-mail service@atomixmp3.com

About the sound quality, have you tested

they worked perfect for me with PcDj and i heard that
those drivers solved many problem to users using
diffrent music programs.
