The problem I am experiencing involves the crossfader not recognizing the difference of left and right channel. To clarify when I play a song on the left channel and fade to the left everything sounds fine. But when I fade to the right the left channel can still be heard and vice versa for the right. Any ideas and opinions appreciated!

Check your sound config in atomix... The situation you describe let me think you are in config one card + channel splitter... In this case just let us know what is your hardware...

Thank you. I am a moron. I thought that I checked the sound config. But you are right it was corrected immediately. I jumped the gun but changing the configuration. I am tryng to use one sound card and y splitter.
