Topic: recording cuts

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i was recording the other day and i was doing alot of cutting.. quickly from Deck A to Deck B-- and then back to A--- in between beats... what happens is that the recording can't keep up with the quick cuts ( i think) and creates another track everytime i go from deck to deck... Is there any way to get rid of that so i can make the full recording...i mean it sounds great live but when i hear it recorded there is pause for about 1 second then and it looks like i messed up the mix.....
thanks

Disable Auto-Cut.... Problem solved.
(But what would be great is a Cut-shortcut.)

No. If I understand your problem correctly, my suggestion is that you disable the Auto-cut-feature in the Recording-window.
This will make Atomixmp3 make a full recording without cutting it into tracks when using the crossfader.
