Topic: File name which holds the BPM information

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Could someone tell me the name of the file which holds the MP3 information e.g. BPM, Comments etc. as I use a PC and laptop with the same HDD in a caddy. One of them I dont use as much as the other and so I would like to keep them both up-to-date when I add new tunes.

Thanks in advance

J

The database can be saved to a floppy (tips: make a backup of the one you want to replace)

Sorry to sound a bit thick, but how do you save the database to a floppy? does it have a file name or can it be done from a menu?

It's too big to save to a floppy.
But yes, you can make a back-up of it. Save it anywhere.
Just find the file, copy it, and paste it where ever you think you want to save it.
Look in your virtualDJ folder.
