i recentrly found out how to host my own online radio thing..but i have one question.I can only brodcast it from my winamp playlist...is it possible to broadcast while im mixing live on my virtual dj software...thanx in advance :)

i know that i have already read that thread...but that dosnt let me BRODCAST WAT IM RECORDING LIVE...thats jut playing it winamp..but how do i make the other pple listne to me mixing live on v dj??

load the shoutcast plugi in vdj not winamp and then that'll stream your mixing

Okay, I'm having the same issues here....
Let me state for the record:
1. I have a LEGAL/ PAID copy of VDJ v2.06
2. I only have about a weeks worth of experience with VDJ
3. I have about a year's worth of experience with Winamp/Shoutcast/and subscribe to a 4. shoutcast host that I've used for quite a while.
4. I've configured the DSL plugin in shoutcast many times and am very comfortable with it.
5. I've searched and scoured this entire forum without any specific answer on how to configure the DSP for VDJ (other than just pointing it to the plugin DLL)

My issue is:
I point VDJ Broadcast plugin to the shoutcast dll and then what?
I started winamp and connected to my server with dsp but it plays whats in the winamp playlist.
If I stop winamp playing, but stay connected then start playing something in VDJ, it still doesnt get broadcasted.
What am I missing here? Does VDJ somehow pipe the audio into the DSP plugin while winamp is running? How do I make the VDJ send to the plugin and not winamp?

Useless to open winamp to use the plugin shoutcast, Virtual DJ already includes a system to use it in records section. The plugin shoutcast already is in the virtualdj directory {dsp_sc.dll + lamedll.dll}

I never thought to look in the "REC" section for "Recording to the Internet"

I have it working just fine now.
