sorry to bother you again
It is a lot clearer for me now, and I completely understand you, i will buy a legal licence to support you because you guys are doing a great job,
just one last question
when i have a legal licence and i get the last update will my console work with it as well or do i need to wait for that until a dj will modify it for the console ?
thanxx

Hi Ivar....
You don't bother me at all :) always nice to chat... and glad it cleared things :)
Ivar? from Scandinavia too?
Anyway, would love to see you as a member .. You are warmly welcome.. :)
And, I got the console + VDJ 2.0....
AND TRUST ME :) the console works like a killer with 2.0!!! you can even scratch with jogwheels (its amazing!! works really good!)..
and all other console things are fully supported.. Works very well together! :)
VDJ 2.0 is a lot better app than VDJ console version, with fully support for all effects, VST (and DirectX) effects (there are 1000s of free effects), jogwheel scratch for Hercules, sample engine (its really fun to play with...), etc etc
And one really nice thing, as a member you will get free updates too

I don't get it! you don't like it but you want a lincense to use it if don't have the money to buy vdj may be you can ask every one on this site to give you a dollar, hercules put the software in there as demo just to show that the console can be used with all software that's it! I don't get it you buy a console for $250 but won't pay $69 dollars for a pro software well if you don't like vdj buy bpm pro $500 to me bpm use hercules the best of all the software but vdj just add scracthing with the jog wheel now that's a plus the only thing I don't like in vdj is the record case it need to display more info

Hi, OK some of my ?'s have been answered. However it should be made clear when buying Hercules DJ Console that VDJ is not the Fully Lic. application, even though it is customized for the DJ Console.
If I had known this before I bought the DJ Console, I would have just bought the software ONLY and not waste my money on the DJ Console.
In fact the only reason I bought the DJ Console was the added value of the VDJ. I personally think the DJ Console is over priced for a basic mixing board with 2 usb sound cards that can be purchased seperately for under $100.
Granted it is great to have such a functional device all in one box, but my point is clear about the VDJ, and it should be made clear to future consumers.
Since I have invested in the DJ Console and have a working version of VDJ and want to UPGRADE to a full version, would it be smart for ATOMIX to offer a discounted rate for the Full Version Upgrade? Or do I have to pay for the Full version at Full cost?
thank you for your time and listening to my complaint.

My point has been discovered even after just posting my message.
My ID is referred to as Demo. Why does it not say that on the box, or in the manual, or on the CD that is included with the DJ Console?
Just be honest about what I am getting as a consumer and my loyalty to buying this product and future products will remain with you.
Mislead me and the next best thing to come along, I will take it and drop you like a hot plate.
This is all I am trying to convey, thanks again for listening. I hope someone from ATOMIX takes note and will consider making changes for future buyers. If so, I may think about remaining a loyal customer.

I think Atomix should at least give a chance to Console Users to download effects or skins.
We paid for it and we thought we were gonna get a serial!!!!
Anyway, I like this soft but can anyone tell me if there is one as interesting???

gvmusic, i'm sorry to read your last post.
it tricked me too, but if you take a closer look at your Hercules-retail-box. you will see this line:
"including FULL version of Virtual DJ - specially tained for Hercules DJ-console"
This means that it IS a fully functional version that only works with your DJConsole, without a timelimit or whatsoever.
It's not very clear to most buyers, but Hercules has the right to put this line on their Hercules-retail-boxes because it does make sense actually. If you read it too fast, you might not see the point. you have to read between the lines.
i'm with you, i felt i've been tricked too. but in fact Hercules isn't doing anything illegal like false advertising.
the disadvantages of the Hercules version compared to the FULL version of VDJ are:
1) No multichannel/multisoundcard support
2) Delayed updates
3) No permission to download plugins/effects from vdj-site
4) "Demo user" status on this forum, no serial
Try to see it the other way, VDJ is really a great DJ-tool and worth buying. 99 euro is not much for such product as it has loads of features and is MUCH cheaper compared to BPM studio for example (at least 500 euro/software only)

Please don't bump a very old topic from 2005.
If your Typhoon came with VirtualDJ LE, then you can find the serial number on the sleeve of the installation CD.
If it did not, then you will need to purchase VirtualDJ Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
For further advice, please contact support: http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/index.html
