Topic: Problems with playing from cd on expigy soundblaster

When I play from a cd (audio of mp3 )on atomix, the track has bumps and clipping, while when I use my internal card, instead of the extigy, it doesnt have these problems.

Also, when I play from a cd with winamp, it doesn't have these problems with the expigy card.

And btw, what does the cmss button do? :)

Do not use winamp for cd playing: use Creative playcenter (bundle of extigy), and u'll resolve all your problems.
Atomix is not really good at plying cds: teamers are working on this problem; Check FAQ
