I'm building a new system this weekend. It will def. be AMD, and it will be def. either a ABIT or ASUS MB. Any comments or suggestions for a real good one? I am looking into either the ASUS-A7V333 (expensive), ABIT KT7A (takes inexpensive ram), ABIT KG-7, or the ABIT KR78-R. I'll be happy for any comments on these or other suggestions. I will probably stick with my 98se OS for now.

Thanks

I have been using the abit KT7A for some time now with no problems at all

O/S is windows 2000 and i have a 1.3ghz Athlon chip and 1024mb of pc133 ram

Soundcard is the audigy and i also use an extigy to give me the two soundcards..

Quality is excellent with no skipping etc...

I have been well pleased with my Abit board

Hope this helps

Thanks Stu. I narrowed it down to either the ASUS A7A266 or ABIT KT7A.
