I have one sound card, a y-splitter, and a Gemini 626 mixer. I would like to hook the mixer up to the comp, and I was wondering if any of you out there could help me out.

pretty easy task. If you have the right splitter. One end goes into the output on your sound card. The other end has 2 rca type jacks. usually one red, and one white. (sometimes black, it doesn't matter) Plug the red rca jack into one channel input on the mixer, say channel 1, and the white (or black) one into a different channel input on the mixer. Set the mixers output to mono, and you are ready to rock.

Good luck

I am quite happy with it. Though I haven't been doing this long enough to give you a comparative recommendation, I will say that I do not regret getting the Gemini. No fuzz, and it gives you a good amount of control.
