Topic: Atomix doesnt load properly

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When I try to start Atomix, it does not show properly. It's like it doesnt load the skin entirely, but if i change it to another it doesn't show the new one and the flaws are still there. For example, it doesnt display any lists of songs or whatever, the whole thing is black with exception of some buttons (but they are not labeled, and when you click them nothing happens, but if you drag it, it copies itself all over the line).
I think this is a really strange behaviour, does anyone know a solution to this??

Thnx

Try to uninstall the old version. I also used them both, and also had probs. I uninstalled the old one and 2.0 worked.

Hope it helps, ikke

I think what he's trying to ask is where you may have gotten Version 1.51.... since the current version is 2.0, and before that it was 1.12.... don't think many of us ever heard of version 1.51.

I get exactly the same fault with the trial version.
Ive tried removing other applications, reinstalled many times, nothing works.

My next mission would be to install another hard disk and start from scratch.
Im running a 1.2 amd plenty of memory on Win 98.
I would appreciate some help too.

Ive now tried installing a brand new H/Disk with only Win98 and my sound and graphics drivers loaded. The graphics card is an onboard S3 on a gigabyte M/B. I still get exactly the same. Please help I really need to have a play.

Sorted finally.
I just downloaded new drivers from Gigabytes website.
Easy answer I know, but there you are.

I've got a Diamond Viper Z200 and the latest update is dated mid-2000, so i don't think it will help very much for the graphic-buildup of Atomix 2...
