I record to my hard drive , all fine and dandy, but as I am mixing songs, right at the end of the transition period between the two songs ( the slider is about 90% to one side ) just as i move it that final mm so its totally at one side atomix misses a second in the recording and it sounds crap!

are you recording to Sound Forge? if you are, go to options, preferences, then the "Perform" tab, uncheck both checkboxes, it worked for me! :)
