Topic: sony note book can be used?

I've been gifted of a sony note book new generation pentium III 866 mhz i'd like to use it but I've been told that I cannot mount a double sound card. would a pcmci card be a solution
or what else?

I'm using a Sony Viao notebook. (amd 800 128 ram) Used it for many gigs all summer long. (5-6 nights every week) Just recently I bought a Telex USB Audio Adapter to use with it. (60 bucks) It's a single stereo output USB adapter. I run one output from my sound card, and another from the USB adapter, straight to 2 channels on the mixer. Sounds very good. 2 stereo outputs was a nice upgrade from using just the onboard sound card split to 2 channels. (this only gives single channel mono to each channel on the mixer) I don't know about a pcmci card. It sounds about perfect now, so I stopped looking.
