Topic: Crackling sound when fading and using EQ

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just upgraded my registered version to the latest and greatest...Looks good but now I have a crackling sound...Here is my configuration...

AMD 1.4Ghz
512MB RAM
Windows XP
SB Live!

I've tried switching between Pimary sound driver and SB Live! with no avail. Same prob.

I hope you guys come out with a patch for this, it seems like a lot of people are getting the same problem.

If you mess around with the hardware acceleration in Windows settings, it will be a bit better, but we´ll try to correct this as soon as possible!

P4 1700 mHz
512 MB SDRAM
60 GB HD @ 7200 RPM
Sound Blaster Live! 5.1
Windows XP Professional Dutch

I've got the same problem...
