Topic: Sound Quality

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I would so buy this product, but I think you might need to work on output quality of the music. Using the demo I get the music sticking and juping, not often, But it's damn annoying and to me I think the sound degrads a little.

Is there anything I can get to help improve, I have a Full Blowen SBLive , P4 1.5Ghz, 516Mb Ram, 30 Gig hardrive. Am i missing a vital ingredient that atomix would need??

Regards

Chris

They have indeed, I have used the 1.2 beta and can say that the sound quality is much better and does not skip at all. For now though, I would recommend keeping your hard drive defragmented as often as possible.

Anyway, not long to wait now for the new version, Stephane Clavel believes 1.2 should be released before the end of this month (November). You can buy 1.12 now and you will get 1.2 for free when it's released.

a few tips...

Use hardware mixing. Get a minidisc deck if you want to record, or use another computer with a recorder.

install the latest SB Live drivers and liveware 3.0, available from Creative.
