When I change or browse skins my OS goes crazy,it changes colours!

if you change the size of the screen, you have to let your display know first by changing it in display settings....
 
On OS Win98 with 128 MB RAM and 800 MHz AMD Athlon..., AtomixMP3 (after 2-3 hours playing) jump the song and not exclussly to crash.... Why?

Video card is S3 Video 3D (4 MB mermory... )

Possible this problem?
