To all of you who can bust out these FX (DJ Corpse, I'm looking at you! Wink-Wink) Here's two we need:
Backspin:
When DJ's (especially hip-hop) finish a mix, they backspin the record that is finishing, then cut the fader to the new record. A backspin should be somewhat easy to do (I Think). Let me know if it is possible.
"Flippin Doubles"
When DJ's (especially hip-hop once again) "flip doubles", they have the same track on both decks playing, with one track exactly 1/2 beat (or is it 1 full beat?) behind the other. Then when you flip the x-fader back and forth, there is a doubling or repeating peating like like this this... We can already flip doubles in atomix, bu the problem is that you don't always have enough time to execute the next mix well. If we had an effect (beat aware of course) that mimicked this effect, you could do it at will, rather than actually loading and spacing the same song. Is it possible?
