Is this the corrected version? I understand that Microsoft was scheduled to have released SP3 mid-July, but couldn't because of several bugs that were discovered in the Microsoft Installer [MSI].

I really don't know. Surely.

Just checked, it's the official. It seems they corrected the issues with the MSI. It should be safe to download and install.

Aside from the new MSI, the rest of the improvements are not properly disclosed by Microsoft. It's a close-your-eyes-and-install kind of setup with Microsoft. All you need to know is that you have an updated version of the OS, but they won't really tell you what has changed, and how.

All I know is that there's increased stability, and overall system reliability. It's like installing the OS all over again, only a newer version. I am no Windows junkie, but I guess that's a good thing.
