Can u use windows encoder to broadcast a live mix?

You can. All you will need to do is output your mix from one sound card, and feed it into the MIC port of a second sound card. The reason you may or may not be able to use a single sound card for this, is because Windows or the Encoder may complain that the card is already in use.

Setup the encoder for a live stream, and make your source the sound card with the active MIC input. Start the encoder, and you're firing away.

However, the Windows Media Encoder is hungry on resources, so you will need to have a really powerful machine if you want to mix, encode and stream on the same machine.

The other alternative is to have a separate encoder from your Atomix box, or to even to Linux with Real Server.
