Just for fun, I decided to run my little brother's Yamaha DJX-IIB DJ console through my line-in on my soundcard to screw around. Man am I glad I did. The DJX is a standalone MIDI console, and alone it is pretty much useless, but teamed with Atomix, it allows you to overlay beats, loops, samples, one-hits, stabs, and other stuff, all in time, as it has a pretty accurate built-in BPM counter. So for anybody who has one of these otherwise useless boxes, I suggest using it to "remix" existing tracks by layering its built-in sounds over them. Cheers!
