im gonna preface this by saying im totally prepared for this to just be user error. Im just using some cheap midi controller from amazon, and ive been trying to make a custom mapping for it in the program, and though it seems like im successfully doing this, when i close the settings menu and attempt to send signals from my controller, nothing happens in the software. Is this a sort of connection issue? Also is it possible to map some pads and knobs to the left deck, and some to the right? I am very new to this whole thing but im determined to make it work

Yes, absolutely, you can split the controller so some pads/knobs control the left deck and others control the right deck

1. What exact MIDI controller are you using?
2. Are you on Windows or Mac?
3. In **VirtualDJ → Settings → Mapping**, does the controller show up in the device list?
