Topic: Problem ddj 800 & virtual di
I am experiencing an issue with my DDJ-800 when using VirtualDJ. During playback, I hear recurring crackling/popping noises through both the master output and the headphones. The noise sounds like a "crack" and occurs repeatedly, sometimes every few seconds. I have already tested different USB cables, different USB ports, reinstalled the DDJ-800 drivers, increased the audio buffer/latency settings, and tested various Windows power settings. The problem still occurs intermittently.
The DDJ-800 works correctly on another laptop, which suggests the issue may be related to the interaction between the DDJ-800, VirtualDJ, or the drivers on my Lenovo laptop.
Could you please advise on any known compatibility issues, recommended settings, or troubleshooting steps for the DDJ-800 with VirtualDJ?

LOWER THE BUFFER LATENCY IN THE PIONEER DRIVER AP

I use DDJ-800 regularly (every Friday night) with 3 different computers (2 PC and 1 MAC)
VirtualDJ and DDJ-800 are working fine on all cases.
This means that it's your Lenovo laptop that has an issue.
Most likely it has high DPC latency.
Use "Latencymon" to monitor your latency.
Then google for any app or driver that you find that it gives you spikes at latencymon to see if there are any possible solutions/workarounds.

PS: On some older Dell models it was quite common that "Dell Support Assist", an app designed to keep the laptop's drivers updated, was causing high latency issues, and the solution was to comletely uninstal that app.

I'm not saying it's the same on your Lenovo. In fact I didn't have a Lenovo computer for about 15 years now.
But it worths checking.
Perhaps google your specific Lenovo model with the words "DPC Latency" next to it.
Maybe you can find something from other users that use DAW software and have similar issues.
