I just tried the new feature today. It is quite amazing to magically convert a brand-new song into an instrumental with lyrics displayed on screen in real time.
That being said it could be improved. First off, the lyrics do not appear on screen on till they are being sung. Second there is not a guide tracing over lyrics with a highlight to show what word is to be sung where. I feel this can be easily implemented because from the DJ screen you can see the words being highlighted in real time above the wave file.
The dynamic setting for lyrics seems clunky and hard to read. I think what is being party missed here at least in the USA is the majority of karaoke singers are 21-49 years old meaning they could be drinking alcohol and asking for this brand-new song that is not available yet from any of the service providers. I would love to see a new setting that mimics the standard mp3g style screen display that has 3-4 rows of lyrics on screen so at least the potential singer can see ahead a few words. I would like to see other people's thoughts on this.
