Hi im trying to get the lyrics to work on songs on new 2026 VDJ but i keep getting this message

Lyrics Extraction Requires Stems 2.0

Your PC is set to use only prepared stems and there are no stems for this song.

Any help much apreciated

What help are you looking for? The message describes the issue.

Either prepare the stems for that track, or set VDJ to extract stems as the track loads.
 
Was this the case in the beta? Bit of a pain as my laptop can't really handle making 2.0 stems on the fly
 
Apparently they were using stems 1.0 and now it's stems 2.0 to get better clarity for AI to understand the lyrics.

It was doing a fine job for me even on ye olde stems. This change limits the feature for a lot of people
 
It was a public beta version so the company responded to the results and changed the requirements as necessary.

I'm sure people would be happier with more accurate results, especially if using those lyrics for censoring or karaoke screens.
