On early access build 8890, padfx vinylbreak doesn't work. Pressing a pad with this action doesn't do anything. On the previous build 8818, it works as intended.
I tried the following scripts that work on 8818 but don't on 8890:
padfx 'vinylbrake' 50% 50% 50%
padfx 'vinylbrake' 50% 50% 50% 'stemfx:MeloRhythm'
(also I could be misremembering, but I thought I could use the old installers to downgrade versions without manually deleting the existing VirtualDJ app in Applications, but it seems like I have to delete the existing app first before running the new installer. Was it always like this?)
I'm on a Mac with M4 pro processor.

There's a problem installing older builds in Windows too, the installer looks for the wrong file and the process falls over.

It's because the VinylBrake FX is not included in Early Access Build 8890.
We ll fix soon, but in the meantime if you need this to work, you ll need to go back to the Public Build 8818
