This is suitable for controllers having 16 pads per side, such as DDJ-XP1, XP2 etc.
For controllers with classic 8 Pads per side, it will require some further adjustments. Will post here an updated version.

For controllers with classic 8 Pads per side, it will require some Mapping modification to make it working on both sides on the calling deck. Will post here some ideas later.

That's great! I was thinking about this and even took some notes to prepare to do it. Now I learn how it can be done better than I would have done.
I may be wrong but I don't think it's absolutely required to change the mapping on the FLX4 to make it work. I'll give it a try next week.
It's already better than Rekordbox! There is however something that I tought about doing differently. When shifting the whole thing by +5, I would have kept the keyboard starting with do, re, mi (transpose ?) so it would be much easier for a non pianist to use.
I was also wondering if we can select a clean cue that might not be the root note of the song scale. For this, we need to be able to shift the root. Is there a way in VDJ to detect a note? If so, it would be great to use the song key as the root, automatically shift the cue to the right spot on the keyboard and "generate" the new root from it. That pad could be blinking. So if the song is in C, and the best cue(sample) found is a D, the root for the keyboard would be at -2

Need to test it still, but I thought we could choose which cue to use to play piano with..

It would be nice (talking to developers team) to have a basic User Instruction Guide for addons like these...I know you guys are already doing a lot, but it would help!
locodog you are very cryptic from time to time ;)

On purpose, for the easy stuff [and those capable] a hint and user following the hint learns more and remembers better than being told directly. I didn't know how to select cue until I looked in the pad editor.
One of the best ways to learn script is trying to understand the code in pad pages.

Easy is a very subjective definition...I wish to learn and I keep learning., cause we never stop!
But sometimes I need some help still...furthermore I am a person who shares knowledge..if I know something and someone asks me about it I try to help.
Thanks anyway for your support...

Being told is stage 1 learning, working out from hints is stage 2, helping others with what you know is stage 3. Top tier having a go at stuff for others you don't actually fully know [test before sharing]
My favourite problems are the ones I start with "I don't know, but I'll try some stuff anyway"
