I have a question that maybe you have an answer for. For months now after I close VDJ, and then try to start it again I am told it is already running. When I check task manager it is indeed running. But it does not work nor can I get it to boot up without force stopping it.

Usually related to some hardware device not released properly , could be sound card or/and some MIDI device. I am afraid you will have to troubleshoot and step-by-step find the device that causes this issue.

Yes, I get the same thing regularly here. Sometimes the process even refuses to close in Task Manager.
There are no external audio interfaces connected. No DJ controllers. No other MIDI devices.

I also have had it not be able to terminate via Task Manager.
