Topic: Gpu recommendations for windows 10 computer
Looking for a windows 10 computer ( I have some usb hardware that only works with windows 10). What would a good gpu spec? Say a rtx 2070 w/8gb vs 3050 w/6gb (not sure if these specs are correct but something like that. Or is it possible to buy a new windows 11 computer with rtx 4070 etc and install windows 10 on it?

Are you sure the hardware you have doesn't work on Windows 10?
Windows 10 support will end in a few months, so if you plan to have the computer connected to the internet sometimes that would not be recommended.
 
The hardware only works with windows 10. The company didn’t update the drivers after that. So yeah Im looking forva new windows 10 computer. Same thing with mac os, it only works on os mojave and lower. So if I went the mac route I would have to buy an old macbook, with a windows pc I might be able to buy a newer laptop and install windows 10.
 
Also I’d only be on the internet to download the programs I need to dj with.

That doesn't necessarily mean it won't work on Windows 11.

The underlying OS is basically the same, apart from the name. Drivers do not have to specifically state they're for Windows 11 in order to work. The OS is similar enough that they will most likely work.

The drivers for my DDJ-RZ are from 2018, and say they're for Windows 10 and 8.1/7

They work on Windows 11

(I believe Adion meant to say "Are you sure the hardware you have doesn't work on Windows 11?")
 
Exactly this. I have a lot of older hardware, upgraded my 2019 Lenovo C940 to Windows 11 and everything works as before.
 
In my case my computer installed a Windows update and my mixer didn’t work anymore So I did a clean install of windows and disabled windows update.
