Topic: DJM 250MK2 not downloading firmware or drivers.....
Hi there, Ive just set up my new DJM 250 MK2 mixer, also using the new Lamborghini technics (time code vinyl arriving soon, woop!) Anyway, Im trying to figure out how to mix VDJ software using my new djm250mk2 mixer alone before they arrive. Is this possible??
I have downloaded the new firmware and driver packages but still says I need to download some drivers... tries a few times .... no luck.
I am getting sound out of the MacBook I'm using but it doesn't seem to be recognising the mixer or my new Vonyx bluetooth speaker :(

Any help would be super appreciated!!! Ok thanks x

When a driver is installed on Mac, it usually asks for your permission, but there is a strong chance either you closed this window/step or not offered from the installer.

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and find the General tab. There, you should see a message about a blocked system software from a specific developer and an option to allow it. If the option isn't visible, you may need to unlock the settings by clicking the lock icon and entering your administrator password. After making the change, you may need to restart your computer for it to take effect

Another fact on Mac OS is that all the USB inputs of the sound card (record-loopback, fxsend/return channels, Mic, AUX etc) are named as "microphone" and you may need to "allow" for VirtualDJ to use.
Go to System Settings --> Privacy & Security, --> Microphone. From there, you can toggle the permission for individual apps on or off.

For the audio Setup and other functionality, read the device Manual https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/pioneer/djm250mk2/setup.html

Sorted, Mac just needed a restart I think.
Thank you very much DJ DAD.
