Topic: VDJ crashes with right-clicks
Hello,
Recently, my software keeps crashing whenever I right-click with the mouse, for example, to launch GeniusDJ.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Very annoying.
I have an HP OMEN Gaming Laptop 16 with Windows 11 and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card.
I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but the problem persists.
Please help!
Best regards, Robert

What VDJ build are you using?

2025 build 8645 pc

It seems that not only the right click is a problem, every click in the side list, causes the wave graphics to stop and the mouse is dead. Music is still playing but no more controll with clicks. Have to crash the programm with the task manager to stop.

8645 is a public release so this isn't a common issue. Are your graphics card drivers up to date?

The graphic drivers were already up to date. But it seems there is a conflict between the two graphic cards.
There is Intel UHD Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce. Since NIVIDIA is the much stronger one I deactivated Intel Graphics and the problem is solved (for now).

You can actually set the nvidia one for stems and then use the Intel one for the skin and video output if you wish.

i had this issue. if you have the intel activated in the bios, the nvidia control panel has an option to check which video card to use. and virtual dj is not working if you use the auto. i had a very bad struggle of 3 month with windows installations.
i have omen 16 with 14700hx, rtx 4060, 32 gb ram.
after all this, there's still something wrong. when you right click on a song and the function list appears, virtual dj starts to work very bad in frames. When i uninstall the video driver, the issue is not there anymore.
i don't have this issue with an older omen laptop with 9750h and gti 1660 TI.

Can you try to set the skinUseHighPowerGPU in virtualdj?
(Either low or high power should be fine, but with a modern cpu low power will be fast enough)

Thanks so much guys. It works perfectly now with the altered options in the performance section.

stemsGPU = NVIDIA
skinUseLowPowerGPU = Low Power
