I'm having this issue where songs disappear from my list after closing and reloading the software. It seems to only be happening to songs on my external hard drive.

Windows? MacOS ?
If Windows, make sure the external drive is always connected with the same drive letter (e.g. M:\ for Music or whatever you like)(you need to set this with disk management – google for this).
