I want to output midi notes as points of interests within tracks. Has anyone done this and be able to point in the direction of syntax? I have a Miditech MIDIface USB to Midi interface

Yeah I have a thing that does that. [a skin and a virtual device mapping and definition]
upto 1024 poi per track
upto 256 unique midi commands [note + channel]
does both midi & OS2L interchangeably.
also live input mode, let a vdj connected controller send midi to other programs.
It costs a few beers, send me a pm if interested.
